Reviews and Ratings
When I first entered the room, which had a partial view that surprised me with its amazingness, I was delighted to find it clean, well-presented, and equipped with quality fittings. Despite the initial air freshener scent, the view made up for it.
The hotel is in a prime location, close to key attractions. The rooms, although in need of refurbishing, feature a stunning bathroom with a spa bath. However, the noise from early morning deliveries was disruptive. The service was exceptional with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The dining experience offered nice selections with a wonderful view, although it was below par at times. The location is unbeatable, convenient for exploring the city. The facilities are varied and well-kept.
The hotel rooms were clean but a bit tired, and the air conditioning didn't cool well, making it noisy to leave the balcony door open all night. The service was excellent, with helpful and friendly staff. The location was fantastic for exploring, close to amenities and offering an excellent view. The dining experience was good but considered a bit expensive for what was offered. The facilities were outdated for the price, lacking a minibar and with a small balcony lacking seating options.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms, though a bit of a trek to reach on the 10th floor, were well-kept, and the location was convenient with a short walk to town. However, the dining options, while good, lacked variety for the price.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the service with Bailey, the duty manager, and the location near Oriental Bay were great, some aspects fell short. The rooms lacked cleanliness, and the dining experience was not up to par with other hotels in New Zealand.
The hotel offers a warm and setup room with a fantastic view through the double glazed sliding door. The cleanliness, particularly the bathroom floor and shower, could be improved, and the absence of a bathtub might be a downside.
The hotel is more like a 3-star than a 4-star, with obstructed views from the room due to the newer part of the hotel in front, worn furniture, and missing extras. Although the room was fine with an excellent bed and adequate bathroom, there were issues with temperature variations in the shower. The location was great for exploring the city and enjoying views of the harbor, but being situated above the delivery area led to early morning disturbances. The air conditioning was not effective, making it noisy to leave the balcony door open all night.
I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights, and I found the rooms to be spacious with a lovely bathroom and a great view. However, the proximity to the lift tower was a bit bothersome for us as it was quite noisy at times. The service was a bit hit or miss, with some staff members going above and beyond while others seemed under pressure. The location, close to the ferry terminal and vibrant nightlife, was definitely a plus, but it was a bit tricky to navigate our way in initially. The dining options were good with plenty of choices, although a bit pricey. Overall, the hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives, making it suitable for a short stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room had a fabulous view and was very quiet and comfortable, but it was very basic for the high price we paid. The location was convenient and within walking distance of major attractions, though the dining experience fell short of expectations.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was enormous, extremely comfortable, and had a wonderful view of Wellington Harbour. The service was always welcoming and made my stay really easy. The location was amazing, close to all the Wellington attractions and right by the waterfront. The dining experience was the only real let down, but there are plenty of amazing cafes nearby. Overall, a great experience with some minor drawbacks.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were pretty tight and filled with the disgusting smell of weed, which was quite a deluxe touch. On the bright side, the room was nice and comfortable with great views of the sea, and the evening restaurant was a great addition to the location.
